Project in Progress – CCTV Installation at KCC (Phase 2)

In line with our mission to deliver innovative and reliable solutions, DEGRITA HOLDING is proud to be carrying out Phase 2 of the CCTV installation project at KCC. This phase marks an important step in strengthening site security and ensuring seamless monitoring of critical areas. Building on the foundations of Phase 1, our team is expanding the surveillance network with the installation of state-of-the-art cameras, the pulling and protection of fiber optic and copper cabling, and the integration of new equipment into the existing system. The project also involves the deployment of poles and specialized mounting structures to guarantee optimal visibility and durability, as well as rigorous testing and commissioning to secure reliable performance. By combining advanced technology with proven expertise, DEGRITA HOLDING reaffirms its commitment to delivering solutions that enhance operational safety, improve responsiveness to incidents, and support the long-term efficiency of our partners.
Cutting-Edge Technology
Phase 2 features the deployment of next-generation surveillance equipment, including high-resolution AVIGILON and Hikvision cameras. Engineered to perform in demanding industrial environments, these cameras deliver optimal performance under all weather conditions. Their ability to capture clear images even in low-light settings ensures continuous and reliable monitoring, day and night.
DEGRITA HOLDING is fully committed to meeting the agreed deadlines for Phase 2 delivery. A rigorous schedule is being followed, with regular checkpoints to guarantee the quality, compliance, and reliability of all installations.
The installed systems incorporate automated video stream analysis, enabling the detection of unusual activities and the generation of real-time alerts. This proactive approach enhances the responsiveness of security teams and significantly improves incident management.
The project is being carried out in close coordination with KCC’s security leadership, ensuring that the deployed solutions are perfectly aligned with the site’s operational needs. Dedicated training sessions are also planned to ensure effective adoption and use of the new tools by on-site personnel.
On the occasion of Occupational Health and Safety Day, DEGRITA HOLDING reaffirmed its commitment to the well-being of its employees by organizing a series of awareness activities focused on safety best practices, risk prevention, and workplace wellness. Informative sessions, practical demonstrations, and interactive discussions helped employees better understand the importance of maintaining a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with regulations.
At the same time, Labour Day was celebrated as a meaningful opportunity to recognize the dedication and hard work of all employees. It was a moment to honour their professionalism and contribution to the company’s growth, while emphasizing teamwork as a pillar of sustainable development.
These two events strengthened DEGRITA HOLDING’s culture of safety, respect, and human value in a warm and purposeful atmosphere.
The DRC Mining Week 2024 was a highly anticipated event that took place from June 12 to June 14, 2024, in Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo. It served as a premier platform for industry leaders, investors, and policymakers to engage, collaborate, and shape the future of mining in the DRC and beyond. The event featured 180+ expert speakers, 250+ exhibitors, international pavilions, insightful technical workshops, and networking opportunities. Attendees gained hands-on experience, explored cutting-edge exhibits, and connected with like-minded professionals, making it a must-attend event for anyone in the mining industry. The organizers are eagerly anticipating an even more spectacular event in 2025 as they celebrate their 20th anniversary.
